School visits and outreach

The museum will be welcoming school visits when we open in September. Local schools and colleges are currently helping to develop a vibrant learning programme. Resources include handling boxes, history trails, interactives, talks, tours and a dedicated education learning space.

From 200-million-years ago to 200-years, the archive and museum will have you covered with the potential to engage and enhance your subject delivery. Immerse your students in primary historical sources as we bring history to life.

Explore our core packages, from guided museum visits to free resources to enhance your classroom learning, join us for a journey through time with strong links to the National Curriculum.
