Shoemakers Museum opens 18 September
The museum opens is doors on 18 September and will be open daily. Explore the history of shoemaking, the origins of the Clarks shoe business and experience life on the factory floor. A gallery dedicated to advertising history and changing fashions in the buying and selling shoes from the 1950s to the 1980s will take you on a trip down memory lane.
The museum cafe will be open a little earlier from 15 September.
