Food Festival 2026

Visitors will be able to enjoy a range of street food while listening to live music and make a day of it with a visit to the new exhibitions and Somerset Arts Week launch

The Food Festival returns!

Shoemakers Museum is hosting Clarks Village food festival in the grounds of the Museum on 19 and 20 September.

This year it takes place over two days and will bring together street food traders serving dishes inspired by countries and regions including Pakistan, Jamaica, Greece, Turkey, Mexico and the Himalayas.

Food vendors set to attend include Saffron Hill Food, Oh Crepe!, Stans, Sultan Gozleme, MANDALA, Biltong Boss, Joy & Gladness, Forked Up, Nopalito, Gyroland and Hel’s Kitchen Street Food. The Coastguard Bar will also be on site.

As well as a range of street food Clarks Village have organised live music spanning acoustic folk, jazz, funk, soul, rock, indie and classic pop to listen to while you enjoy your world of cuisine.

The entertainment line-up includes:

Saturday, September 19

• 1pm: One Man Festival Band
• 3pm: Dragons Fly
• 5pm: The Hill Brothers

Sunday, September 20

• 12pm: Bob Gallie
• 2pm: Southsea Groove Collective
• 4pm: Anders Trio

It will run outside of normal museum hours – from 12pm to 7pm on Saturday, September 19, and from 12pm to 5pm on Sunday, September 20.

Shoemakers Museum café will be open as usual between 10 and 4pm so you can twin your street food adventure with your favourite café lunches and a sit down cup of tea or barista coffee (the best coffee in town its been said!) .

Make a day of it with a visit to the museum and the launch of our Somerset Arts Week exhibitions and installations also taking place on Saturday 19 September.
