Are you interested in volunteering? Find out more at Shoemakers Museum volunteer info day taking place on 27 January 2026.

Do you have a little time to help offer insights into the galleries and our collections?  If you have a personal connection to Clarks or shoemaking traditions, or if you enjoy local and industrial history, or just meeting people this could be a satisfying way to share your knowledge and learn more.  We don’t expect you to know all about the collections. We’ll give plenty of training and support.  Why not come along to an Information Session where you can meet the team, hear from some of our current volunteers and find out more.
