Boo-tiful shoes and ghastly ghost stories free in the education space

Ghosts from the Grange! This half-term Shoemakers Museum will be sole-shaking! As well as a spooky shoe-trail around the galleries, we have ghastly ghost stories inspired by the collection.

Throughout half term, our learning space will be open for free activities.

Before the Shoemakers Museum opened here at the Grange the site was used for many things, including being a temporary home to Basque Refugees in the Spanish Civil War. Some of the things those children left behind are on display in the museum, and one is a diary including a spooky story of ghosts in the Grange created by one of the children.
